In the words of the song, November is a time for preparation and creation.
ElectricAid’s November funding round commitment of €166,297 to 19 different proposals certainly fits that bill.
From a replacement rural school in Nepal, to supporting a block-making enterprise for people with disabilities in Zambia, we are helping to prepare people for a self-sufficient future.
In the Gambia, we are supporting a project based on the Orange-Fleshes Sweet Potato, a crop which is giving new hope to thousands of farmers in Africa. We are helping to create futures for Zambian children through a new Vocational Training Centre, and here in Ireland we are helping to create better futures for the homeless through supporting Focus Ireland.
All over the world, your charity is preparing people to create better futures for themselves.
