ElectricAid and GDPR – Stay in touch with us!

ElectricAid takes its responsibilities seriously in how we handle your data. Effective and respectful communications form a key part of how we interact with all 2,650 of you, and how we build and sustain the ElectricAid community.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on 25th May, 2018 and will impact significantly on how we stay in touch with you. In general, GDPR increases the obligations on all organisations to handle personal data appropriately and carefully, and they increase individual rights to privacy, and to only having their personal data used for purposes to which the individual has agreed.

Under GDPR, we are now obliged to seek your specific consent to continue receiving marketing communications. We pride ourselves on our respectful and appropriate communications.

We know your inbox is flooded with these GDPR emails, but it is necessary and important. To continue to stay in touch and receive updates on ElectricAid projects, Special Appeals or Events simply update your communications preferences by clicking here.

Your response will enable us to continue with our current level of communications with our members. You will enable us to continue the level of service you expect from ElectricAid. We don’t foresee any change in the type or frequency of communication with you – we do not do any form of “hard sell”, and never will.

Thank you again for your continued support and generosity for our work with the poor, the sick and the hungry of this world.
