ElectricAid takes funds donated by our 2,500 contributing members, and by our Corporate Partners, ESB and EirGrid, and puts them to work in Ireland and all over the developing world.

We fund grassroots development projects which help people lift themselves out of grinding poverty and ill-health. We specialise in basic infrastructure (water, sanitation and energy), health care, basic & vocational education, agriculture & food security, and micro-finance for micro-enterprise. Our fundings are primarily at the community level, and are generally availed of by Irish and overseas development NGOs, small community-based organisations, and faith-based entities. We insist on high standards of references, project design, application and post-implementation reporting.

Our fundings change thousands of lives worldwide every year.
