The quality of the applications for the May funding round saw us spend €2,785 more than we aimed for however with a half the year to go we are in a good position to help many more development projects around the world. The funding was split up between; Education (17%), Agriculture and Livelihoods (28%), Basic Infrastructure (34%), Health Services (17%) and Humanitarian (4%).
The funding was spread from Guatemala as far as Nepal and many places in-between including Galway, Uganda and Burundi. All of the aid that we help supply wouldn’t be possible without our generous members who are the bedrock of ElectricAid.
