We have had a fantastic response to our ElectricAid COVID-19 Emergency Appeal.
Through your generosity, the campaign has reached €20,060! By supporting ElectricAid, your donation goes further as ESB supports ElectricAid Emergency Appeals with an additional donation of €25,000 which will be drawn down in June and used exclusively for COVID-19 related projects.
ESB’s partnership with ElectricAid sees a commitment to match funding €2:€3 for every donation to ElectricAid and is capped at €275,000 annually. Of this, €25,000 from ESB is set aside for campaigns such as our COVID-19 appeal and goes a long way towards projects responding to COVID-19 at home and abroad.
Our current round of funding is open until 17th of June. If you know of any charity responding to COVID- 19 either here in Ireland or overseas, please get in touch with us via email electricaid@esb.ie. With your support, ElectricAid is making a real and 
immediate difference. Your donations have already funded Feed the Heroes supporting our frontline and hospital staff and Comfort 4 Covid, a group providing donations of tablets and smart devices to nursing homes and hospitals helping patients to stay connected with friends and family during social isolation.
