ElectricAid has always funded in Ireland as well as the Developing World.
This year, we have approved a special “Christmas” funding of €10,000 to Focus Ireland, to help in their work against Homelessness in Ireland.
The funding will be split 50:50 between education and training for homeless people, and work on behalf of families and children in emergency accommodation.
This is additional to ESB’s Energy for Generation Fund seasonal grants totalling €46,000 to 9 different homeless charities across the island of Ireland.
Together, we hope to make Christmas happier for our less fortunate brothers and sisters.
